TWO COMIC READINGS!

As part of an event which was the launch of both the H.G. Wells anthology comic and the newly rebranded Ink Pot studio, there was a ribbon cutting ceremony and a certificates presentation before a series of comics performances from Damon Herd's DeeCAP began. This included performances from Kathryn Briggs, Andy Herd, Stuart McAdam, Norrie Millar, Damon himself, and me.

I did two readings. The first was a story I wrote and drew previously - "Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds: an Introduction", and the second - "George vs Herbert", was done specifically for "Time & Space".

Here they are:

Many thanks to Tom Stewart of That Comic Smell podcast, who filmed these!

HOURLY COMIC DAY 2017

Wednesday was Hourly Comic Day, where the challenge is to make a comic for every hour you're awake. This can take any format you choose.

I decided to do a three panel strip for each hour. It's a good discipline, boiling down an idea into this format.

Here are my strips then, covering 7am - 10pm. Click for larger versions. I hope you enjoy them!

THAT COMIC SMELL 7: Politics

The new episode of That Comic Smell is now online.

" WELCOME… to the WORLD OF TOMORROW!!
Yes folk, it is 2017 and we are here with a brand new pod for everyone to sink their ears into.
To start off this year with a rousing yet, at times, controversial bang we are talking politics. We also discuss what we got, picked up or interested us over the holiday season. We then sneak in a few news talking points at the end.
