GRAFFITO

Caithness Horizons Gallery in Thurso is now running their Graffito exhibition.

From the museum's website: "Graffito is a celebration of drawing and mark making with street, pop, graphic and comic art and zine making."

I have some comics on display there; Silently Falling, a page from George vs Herbert, and the wraparound cover for Berserkotron.

The exhibition also features work from Hannah Cambridge, Marc Delaye, Zu Dominiak, Victor Nobis and Andrew Strachan. It runs from 11th September to 26th October.

TWO COMIC READINGS!

As part of an event which was the launch of both the H.G. Wells anthology comic and the newly rebranded Ink Pot studio, there was a ribbon cutting ceremony and a certificates presentation before a series of comics performances from Damon Herd's DeeCAP began. This included performances from Kathryn Briggs, Andy Herd, Stuart McAdam, Norrie Millar, Damon himself, and me.

I did two readings. The first was a story I wrote and drew previously - "Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds: an Introduction", and the second - "George vs Herbert", was done specifically for "Time & Space".

Here they are:

Many thanks to Tom Stewart of That Comic Smell podcast, who filmed these!

I am in there too, with a new story. Here is a preview:
