One of my favourite movies.
My take on, and history with, Genesis' 1974 double album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.
Remembering when I'd ask artists to sign LPs, and they'd be surprised by the vinyl albums. Specifically, Stuart Adamson and Rick Wakeman.
A comic on some of the scariest music of all time, featuring Aphex Twin, Wendy Carlos, Genesis, and Mike Oldfield.
A celebration of what I called "Space Music" as a kid - movie soundtracks!
Star Wars, Close Encounters, and E.T. by John Williams, Battlestar Galactica by Stu Philips. And disco, pop, and rock versions of science fiction and superhero themes by Geoff Love and Neil Norman.
This page shows LP issues for albums that were originally CD only, including Babylon Zoo, Duran Duran, Jamiroquai, King Crimson, Level 42, Tears for Fears, Vangelis, and Yes.
This week, a page on how I learned to stop worrying, and love the late vinyl releases.
I am working on a comic book called "For the Record" about my love of music over the years, and posting weekly updates of progress.
Collecting Police albums on LP highlights the stop-start nature of buying vinyl over the years. They released five albums between 1978 and 1983, one in 2008, then two more in the 2020s.
I am working on a comic book called "For the Record" about my love of music over the years, and posting weekly updates of progress.
I'm guesting on the latest episode of this fun podcast, with hosts Brian Rudloff and Sam Stovold.
Discussing Further Adventures of Indiana Jones #29; "Shot by Both Sides", and #30, "Fireworks!" both by Linda Grant, Ricardo Villamonte, Danny Bulanadi, from May and July 1985.
I also shared my excitement for my new Star Wars Dub LP, and my lack of enthusiasm for Andor season 2.
From the website:
"As Indy finds himself on the trail of a misplaced Chinese mummy, we finds ourselves once again joined by David Robertson, who is more than happy to offer up some fresh takes on Andor, plus Sam describes novel additions to his recent rewatch experience, we discuss the inherent humor in water-proof pouches of dynamite, and we all marvel at some surprisingly Indiana Jones-like Chronicles in the South Pacific."
Have a listen here.
This week, a challenge to make note of the gigs you've been to.

A new 16 page minicomic entitled "Contains No MSG or AI" will be available at SPACE this weekend at Rhodes Center, @Ohio Expo Center, Columbus OH, USA.
It contains work by Michael A Carroll, J.M. Hunter, Bob Corby, Carl M Lucas, Candyce Ober, and Chandu Tenney.
I'm in there too, with a one pager called "A.I. - The Next Generation". Here are a couple of teaser images for it.
Latest page is on portable cassette players and their impact on listening to new music. A few stages of the work.
