COMICS PRODUCTION COURSE: Comichaus project

I recently did a project to design a poster as part of the Comics and Graphic Novels MLitt course at Dundee Uni.

Click here for an account of the process.

COMICS PRODUCTION COURSE

This semester on the Comics MLitt course, I've started on a "Comics Production" module.

The first class concerned logo design. Logo design utilising Adobe Illustrator, which I have no clue how to use! A new challenge.

Have a look at the latest blog post on this here.

NANDO: cover

Here is the wraparound cover for Nando. I really enjoyed doing this comic.

Thanks to everyone who's been following along and for those who haven't, you can see the whole project here.

NANDO: Creating Comics on the Comics MLitt course

I've started on the Comics and Graphic Novels Mlitt course at the University of Dundee recently and one of the modules I'm working on is “Creating Comics” with Phillip Vaughan.

As part of the module, I'm required to keep a blog detailing the creation of a new 8-12 page story, due to be finished in December.

Anyone interested in how I do comics should give this a read, as although I always give a brief bit of background in my comic books, this will be more detailed than those.

So far I have written up the "pre-creation" thinking to my story and published the first two layout pages.
